Terms & conditions.

The agreement between you and Wanderlust Travel & Adventure when you book the Kenya Romance Tour. Written in plain English.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Who you're booking with

The Kenya Romance Tour is operated by Wanderlust Travel & Adventure, a business registered in Australia. By submitting an application, attending a vetting call, or paying a deposit, you accept these terms and the related refund policy and privacy policy.

2. What you're booking

A 10-day group tour through Kenya including private accommodation (4–5 star city hotels, boutique stays, beachfront resorts), all internal transfers, daily breakfast and selected meals, hosted activities and cultural experiences, and curated introductions to vetted Kenyan women.

Not included: international flights to/from Nairobi, travel insurance, personal spending, visa fees, gratuities, optional extras.

3. Eligibility & vetting

This is an invitation-only tour. To attend you must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Pass our 30-minute vetting call.
  • Submit truthful information on your application.
  • Hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond the tour end date.

We reserve the right to decline an application or revoke a booking at any time, including after a deposit has been paid, if false information is provided or if behaviour during or before the tour breaches our code of conduct (section 7). Refunds in that case are at our reasonable discretion.

4. Booking & payment

  • Deposit: A $500 AUD non-refundable deposit confirms your place after the vetting call. Pay within 7 days of receiving your invitation.
  • Balance: The remaining $6,499 AUD is due 60 days before tour departure.
  • Method: Australian bank transfer (PayID or BSB/account). Quoted on invoice after invitation.
  • Currency: All prices in Australian Dollars (AUD). Foreign-currency conversion costs are yours.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Full schedule on our refund policy page. In summary: deposits are non-refundable; balance refunds taper based on how close to departure you cancel (90+ days: full refund; 60–89: 50%; 30–59: 25%; under 30: none).

6. Travel documents, insurance & health

  • Passport & visa: You are responsible for ensuring your passport, visas (Kenya offers an eVisa for Australian passport holders), and any required vaccinations are in order.
  • Travel insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. You must provide proof of insurance 30 days before departure. Cover should include medical, trip cancellation, and personal liability.
  • Health: Consult your GP about recommended vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis. The trip involves walking, beach activities, and travel by air and road; you should be in reasonable physical health.

7. Code of conduct

The Kenya Romance Tour is built on mutual respect between guests, women introduced on the tour, our team, and local partners. By booking, you agree to:

  • Treat all women introduced to you with respect, dignity and honesty. Coercion, harassment, transactional propositions, or treating any woman as if she is for hire is a breach of these terms and grounds for immediate removal from the tour without refund.
  • Be truthful about your situation (relationship status, family, intentions). Lies discovered before or during the tour are grounds for removal without refund.
  • Respect Kenyan law and local customs. Drugs and prostitution are illegal in Kenya and will result in immediate removal and reporting to local authorities.
  • Not photograph, film, or record women without explicit, informed consent. Not publish photos or details of women you meet on the tour to social media without their written permission.

8. What we don't guarantee

We are a tour operator and a curated introduction service. We do not promise any specific romantic outcome. Chemistry is not something we (or anyone) can guarantee. We commit to professional preparation, properly vetted introductions, and a well-run trip.

9. Force majeure & tour changes

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary if circumstances beyond our control (weather, political unrest, public health orders, supplier failure, force majeure events) require it. We'll minimise disruption and offer reasonable alternatives.

If we cancel the tour for force-majeure reasons, you will be offered a credit toward a future cohort or a refund of the balance you paid (less unrecoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf). Deposits remain non-refundable as they cover preparation work that has already been performed.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us for the tour. We are not responsible for losses caused by independent third-party suppliers, your own actions or omissions, or circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

11. Privacy

We treat your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. See our privacy policy for the full detail. In short: we never share, sell, or publish applicant data.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
